i wanted to stay updated with apple's firmware on my iphone 3gs,
i tried doing a normal restore but then i realized i had BB 6.15.00.
now i am at some loop which requires a restore to work again.
can anyone help me on how to restore this?
thanks.
EDIT:
On tinyUmbrella
It says I have current version installed 4.3.2.
Baseband version: 6.15.
I have SHSH Blobs saved from 3.1.3 to 4.3.2

That's your only option. What didn't go right for you? Did you set your phone into pwned dfu mode with redsn0w first before trying to restore to the custom fw?
Yes. But you already have the ipad bb. You don't want to try to install a custom firmware with the ipad baseband again. If you've opened TinyUmbrella, you might want to go to advance options and uncheck the box that says to point to cydia on exit or you'll get an error when restoring to custom 4.3.3.
You got 1015 bc the custom firmware has the ipad baseband packaged. If you already have the iPad baseband you should be using a custom fw that doesn't have the ipad baseband packaged into it.
can't I just use the original firmware? since i don't need anything else but to upgrade?
and I go from 4.3.2 -> 4.3.3? or do i stay at 4.3.2?
also if it helps, i'm at the connect to itunes loop thing.
You said you're not jailbroken I assumed you wanted to jb on 4.3.2. If you want to go to 4.3.3 you could just hit upgrade in iTunes. But you'd have to use the 4.3.3 firmware from iTunes to jailbreak it with redsn0w. But I don't know where it's stored so you'll have to figure it out. It's probably easier to download 4.3.3 and then just do the restore with it as well as the jailbreak.
Using TinyUmbrella it says i'm using 4.3.2 firmware.
Previously before i screwed it up. I was on 4.3.2 using BB 6.15, unlocked using ultrasn0w and jailbroken using redsn0w.
I wanted to stay up to date so i tried upgrading the firmware through apple, and now i'm at the loop where it wants me to connect to itunes, and I also get error 1015.
You'll need a custom 4.3.3 firmware that doesn't have the ipad baseband packaged in it. That's the only way to restore your device without getting any errors. Before restoring to a custom fw you'll need to use redsn0w to put your phone into pwned dfu mode first, then open iTunes to restore to the custom fw.
yes!
thanks i.annie and iYeow!
it was really clumbsy of me to keep adding the 6.15 BB to the firmware.. when all i needed as just to use a custom clean one...
