Jailbreak question
Buddy of mine wants to jailbreak his phone and dont know if it's 3G or 3GS is there a way to find out

Check the writing on the back where it says iPhone
Dark grey: 3G
Bright Silver: 3GS
Also a 3GS has the compass app and a 3G does not.

He also has 468mb left of usage on his phone he started with 7gb can he even jailbreak his phone
