    Default 3gs stuck on DFU MODE FAST HELP

    i had ssh blobs of 4.2.1 saved then i ran the tss server put the device into pwned dfu mode and restored into the 4.2.1 cfw it was successful but then i noticed it would not boot out of dfu mode. Then when i tried to restore again it would give me either a 3194 error or 1600 error. So then i booted tethered from redsn0w .96b4
    And now it runs successfully on 4.2.1 but the bb is still 5.16.02 but the bb is the least of my worries. Now every time it powers off, rebo

    It is because you dont have or are not using your 4.2.1 SHSH. Confirm what SHSH you have with tiny umbrella first.

    i had 4.2.1 saved from my other 3gs and tried to downgrade another one with that same blob

    Doesn't work that way. SHSH are device specific.

    Is there anyway i can fix this problem?
    or do i have to just keep booting from redsn0w for now on

    Make a custom 4.3.3 and restore to that. Do not use tiny umbrella during the process.

    Open tiny umbrella
    Click on advanced
    Deselect box that says set hosts to cydia on exit
    Click apply and close tiny umbrella
    Proceed with the custom 4.3.3 firmware restore

    omg. Simon, I thank you for the fast replies and help you saved me. Deselecting the ghosts to cydia helped.
