    Default 3GS won't jailbreak

I have a 3GS and have tried to jailbreak it with 4.3.2 using redsnow.
It starts and when it goes into recovery mode an error message appears saying unexpected error, and the phone has a white screen.
I also tried this with 4.3.3 and the same result.
    What can I do?

5.16.02 is your baseband/modem firmware. What firmware is actually on the device? 4.3.2? 4.3.3?

Also what computer are you running redsnow on?

So you need to point redsnow to a 4.3.3 firmware.
You need to know what bootrom you have, you can find that out with idetector.

Also what are you running redsnow on again? Mac/Windows xp/vista/7?

I've been experiencing this too for some reason and didn't know why. I just used windows and it worked.
