Cydia and Blackra1n

Hi All!

I have an iPhone 3g on 3.1.2 which has been jailbroken with blackra1n. However evertime i install cydia, it works once, but wont let me install anything, then crashes on startup the next time i run it. I have restored and re-jailbroken a number of times and it keeps happening any ideas? x

Might be an issue bc Blackra1n is outdated and Cydia probably wants to update.

Restore to stock 3.1.3, get redsn0w 0.9.4 (and a 3.1.2 ipsw for this part) and jb it on 3.1.3. Then you should be fine. You could also use Spirit or jailbreakme.com if you have an official SIM to activate with. If not then stick to redsn0w.
