Default iPhone 3GS 3.1.3 stuck in DFU mode and will not restore

I have a iPhone 3GS which I accidentally upgraded from 3.1.2 to 3.1.3. After which I downgraded it back to 3.1.2 and ended up having the new baseband with 3.1.2..yeah, I pretty much have almost no idea what I'm doing lol I'm not the best jailbreaker but this was an experiment for me, which I screwed up horribly. I think I have the newer MC model 3GS from what I can remember, its between week 42-45. The problem is that my ITunes keeps giving me the "3014" error and I've checked my host files for the "gs.apple.com" with the correct IP and I have it. I've even tried deleting it which ends up giving me another error. Also my 3GS is now stuck in DFU mode and will not exit. I think it may be because I tried to put a custom firmware on it from pwnagetools on a mac. Someone help a noob in need? My iPhone is like a need for me =[

why not update to 4.3.2 or 4.3.3, pwnagetool supports both and you will be jailbroken once the restore is complete, just make sure to enter pwned dfu before trying to restore to a custom firmware, either redsn0w or pwnagetool can put you in pwned dfu
In the end we're all just chalk lines on the concrete, drawn only to be washed away. For the time that I've been given, I am what I am.
