iPhone 3GS Stuck on Apple Logo 6.15BB
Just bought this iPhone on ebay which was apparently stuck in recovery mode with error 1013 however when I turn it on it just gets stuck on the Apple Logo. I have been told it has previously been jailbroken with redsn0w, and has the ipad baseband. I was told it was updated to 4.3 but not sure which version.
Does any one know how I can fix this, any help would be greatly appreciated.

From Pwned DFU as well?
1611 usually means that the device tried to enter Restore mode (start the restore) but the bootrom pushed back into Recovery; and 21 usually indicates that the Pwned DFU mode wasn't set up right, and you'll need to manually reset the device (hold power and home until the device shuts off) before trying to restore again to get off that Apple logo.

Even in pwnd dfu mode i'm getting 1611, and gets stuck with preparing the iphone. When I attempt to restore the screen lights up black and then goes white, and then goes to the apple logo, then it goes to the snow breeze logo. Any ideas?
Ok I restarted my computer and it randomly started working lol. It installed the firmware but still gets stuck on the apple logo. And iTunes asks me to activate the iPhone.
Should I try restoring to stock firmware or using redsn0w again?Last edited by nick4321; 05-05-2011 at 05:13 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

If it's asking for an activation, throw a legitimate SIM in there and see what happens. If necessary, try to hacktivate it (redsn0w should do it).
If this keeps up, I'd like to see the restore logs from iTunes, if at all possible.
Those logs are located at %AppData%\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Updater Logs on a Windows XP/Vista/7 system.Last edited by Orby; 05-05-2011 at 06:37 PM.

I created another ispw using snowbreeze this time with the activation, iphone still does not boot just hangs on apple logo. itunes let me set it up and recognizes it when turned on but stuck on apple logo, also it keepes rebooting every 5 mins or so.

Since u can't confirm it's firmware, try running greenpois0n! Put it in DFU mode first, then run GP to see what happens...

Looks like your baseband is shot. It can't establish a MAC address, and it cannot flash the EEP and FLS files the way it should...
That hardware error may be the entire point-of-failure on this one. I'd suggest a repair or swapout (because frankly, even if that baseband isn't causing the restores to error out, I'm betting dollars to donuts you're not going to have Wi-Fi or cell connectivity with this phone should you get it up and running).Last edited by Orby; 05-07-2011 at 03:05 AM.

yeah, tried that no luck
goes straight back into recovery mode
I think I have some battery issue which is preventing it from booting, it holds very little charge and comes up with the low battery sign all the time.

You're still drawing a baseband-related error though (lines 115-6: radio error 256, corrupted stack). Though it does appear that restore you posted went through... did it error, or is the battery just acting out?
If the battery is malfunctioning too, I'd strongly advise you get a swapout now.
