First ask yourself WHY you want to upgrade? There's no new features for 4.3.3 so there's no reason to go through all the trouble.

Well you can't go from one firmware to another without losing all your JB apps and data. The redsn0w update will hopefully be out today or tomorrow.

PKGBackup to save all JB apps and settings (note need to still sync to itunes for itune apps.)

also 4.3.3. gives OFFICAL block of the "bug" rather than the cydia alternative..
    PLUS theres possible battery enhancement.
Being an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.

I am always forced to update when the apps start demanding the newer firmwares. Fortunately I haven't run across that yet and am still rocking 4.1.

Think yourself lucky. I got my new ip4 today and it already had 4.3.3 on it so I am knackered until a jb comes out!

Some people are saying that i0nics exploit is still present in 4.3.3 so jailbreak should be soon.
