my restore/upgrading idn't really restore/upgrade

i have iphone 4 factory unlocked i don't care about BaseBand

but when i do upgrading to new version i got a problem

when someone call me and when we hangup i received an sms alret
when i checked it

i found the sms alret is a previous one e.g

i have a new sms in the morning....when someone call me (whether in list or not) we talk a little when we hangup the previous sms i got in the morning back again as an alert for new message

i down/up/restore .... setup new iphone

but the problem still here

what should i do ??

Try setting your "alert tone" interval to once (in Settings -> Messages -> Play Alert Tone -> Once). That should fix the "multiple alerts for one SMS" thing.

Do you have any tweaks installed via Cydia that affect SMS or notification popups (biteSMS, Notified, etc.)?

That's about all I can think of if the easy switch isn't working...

If restoring and setting up as new isn't fixing it then it's something you installed from Cydia that you keep installing each time you restore. I agree with Mes, it could very well be some sort of SMS or notification tweak or app that may be causing it.
