Error 3194 occurs when trying to install an old firmware and Apple's server disallows the installation. If previously saved via Cydia, TinyUmbrealla can retrieve from Cydia and serve them to iTunes when needed bypassing the error.

Just FYI you don't need to restore. Go to SBSettings and go to more, select mobilesubstrate addons and then turn off dreamboard.
Go to Cydia, uninstall and reinstall DB. then it should be fine. Just remove the theme and don't try to use it again. It will give you the black screen again.

Ok um... Did you uninstall the theme that was being problematic? You want to manually uninstall dreamboard then install again rather than use the reinstall option. But do that after you delete the theme causing the problem.
As for your Cydia error I want to say it's just a server being down right now. Or your Internet connection maybe?

yes i dont have the theme no more i deleted the whole dreamboard app using ifile
how can i uninstall it manually?
nothing i do in Cydia seems to work
i get a error for everything
i think is just my iphone cuz i tried on my itouch4g and seems to work fine
if i have to restore Annie i can but only to 4.2.1 not upgrade to 4.3
was just saying if i have toLast edited by Wendee1982; 05-03-2011 at 08:33 PM.

@I.Annie,
What if she reinstalled Cydia? That might fix it...right?

Cydia shouldn't have become a problem. You could try to reinstall Cydia but if you have to restore you'd want to check if you have SHSHs for 4.2.1

@Wendee1982
-go into iFile and get to the Root (/) directory.
-scroll to the top so you see the 'Search' function.
-tap Heirarchy
-type in Dreamboard
-DELETE anything related to Dreamboard
-Respring
See if that works!

Do this first:
Sorry for the delay in responding...
Tools needed:
Safari Download Manager
iFile
1. Get the cydia 1.1.1 deb file via Safari Download Manager: http://www11.multiupload.com:81/file...ia%201.1.1.zip
2. Use iFile and UNARCHIVE the folder
3. Open the Cydia 1.1.1 Folder and COPY the 'cydia_1.1.1_iphoneos-arm.deb' file
4. Go to: /var/root/Media and PASTE the cydia deb file here
5. Now go to: /var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall and PASTE the Cydia deb file here, too.
***you might have to create the Cydia and AutoInstall folders. If so, pay attention to the capitalization! You might even need to create the Media folder if it isn't inside the /var/root/ folder***
6. Go back to the /var/root/Media folder and TAP on the Cydia deb file
7. INSTALL the Cydia deb file
8. Now REBOOT your phone.
9. You should now have Cydia!
