    Default Boot loop nightmare

    Hello there,
Hoping that someone on here can help.
First of all I should point out that I'm a complete noob to iphone hacking so i'll try to describe the problems as best I can.
I sent the iphone away to a repair shop for a couple of hardware repairs (long story, the point of which being that the previous owner probably should'nt have attempted to open up a perfectly working iphone armed only with complete ignorance and beer induced retardation). When The iphone came back it connected to itunes but ran really sluggish, I did a hard power off (hold sleep+home)and since then the phone has been stuck in boot loop.
The last thing I tried was using using snow breeze to create a custom firmware from 4.3.2 and then then istalling that cfw with redsnow,on the iphone screen all appeared well throughout the jailbreak and itunes picked up the phone but again still in boot loop.
Using iphone browser I can see that cydia is installed, also using snowbreeze i can see that the 3gs is running the newer bootrom.
I'm using windows 7x64 but also have a hackingtosh install of snow leopard- if thats any help.
Any help or advice at all would be very much appreciated as i've been messing about with this iphone for quite a few months now and starting to move far past my frustration threshold.

So you got the phone into Pwned DFU mode, were able to restore a fresh sn0wbreeze onto the phone, and it's still boot looping on you?

Do you have SSH access into that phone? If not, you can install it using this bundle with redsn0w, and try sending a "reboot" or "halt" command while it's looping (since it sounds like the kernel has mounted the filesystem before it loops).

Be aware, however, that the odds of hardware damage or malfunction causing these errors are very high based on how you described the situation.

Hi orbyorb, hanks for the reply,
Yes I can get into dfu mode and I can access the shsh files with tinyumbrella, I can also see the phone in itunes and install custom firmwares or even go back to official firmware, everything goes fine through the whole process but when its finished the phone goes back into boot loop, I'll try your suggestion and let you know how it goes, also after reading another post i'm going to try irecovery, if I can get that working.
    Cheers.
