I have an Iphone 3G and currently it is running

Version 4.1 (8B117)
Carrier Three 8.0
Model MB489B
Modem Firmware 06.15.00

Can anyone please tell me what firmware is available to me if I wanted to upgrade?

Any help would be greatly received.

Use pwnage tool or snowbreeze to make a custom 4.2.1 and restore to that in itunes. Isnt much difference between 4.1 and 4.2.1 though.

The reason I am looking to upgrade is that when I went to App store the other day there were a couple of apps I couldn't install because I didn't have the updated firmware.

In your opinion what are the benefits to upgrading to 4.2.1.
