    How do you jailbreak a IPhone 3G running 4.2.1? I have tried multiple things and I have not had any luck!

    redsnow 0.9.6rc8, or even the latest redsnow 0.9.6rc14. If you are on Windows Vista/7 make sure to run redsnow in windows xp sp2 compatibility mode.
