Trying to decide to Jailbreak

I am thinking about jailbreaking but want to know if I will still be able to by apps from apples app store.

Yes, you can still buy apps from the app store no problem.

How about still being able to synk with iTunes. I heard that you can't if you jailbreak is this true?

not true, you can sync just fine. Jailbreaking doesnt stop you from doing anything you normally can do.
