4.3.2 jailbroken but no Wifi hotspot

hey everyone,

i recently upgraded my phone from 4.1 to 4.3.2 and kept the baseband 02.10.04.then i did jailbreaking with snowbreeze and used gevey to unlock my iphone 4. everything works great except that i dont have personal wifi hotspot in settings even though im on 4.3.2 if anyone knows what happened to that setting. please explainor this happened to anyone before ? ?

It is something that needs to be unlocked in the settings. It's not there unless you have the right settings. You have a couple choices
1. If your carrier supports it, you can set it up with them and pay a monthly fee
2. You can buy MyWi for $20 and stream your hotspot all you want. There are a lot of features in MyWi so that's what most of us use but it's an external app purchased via Cydia
3. You can enable the native wifi hotspot using tetherme or other Cydia apps that enable it locally.

i just read it on apple's site. i ddnt know my carrier has to support it.i've got myWi thanks tho. oh btw i have a only one bar for the signal. why do you think that is and how can i fix it. i downloaded ultrasnow which ddnt help tho.

You kept your baseband at 2.10.04? How come? That baseband is not unlockable. I am on an iPhone 4 but I have 01.59.00 which is unlockable. I would have thought the cydia fix would have worked for you but I guess not. I think the gevey sim works with the newest baseband, you could just update the baseband if you're annoyed with the one bar issue. (Double check that it works with the new baseband first though.

The 1bar issue has to do with the ultrasnow unlock.... The old version ultrasnow didn't support 4.3.1 that's why a newer version of ultrasnow was created...... Google it and you will see.......
