4.3.2 for 3g
Is there any third party striped version of 4.3.2 for 3g?

Nope, 4.2.1 is the end of the line for them.

first of all sorry for wrong section. Mods please move it.
Second I know this is the final official version that's why I asked for third party/custom firmware.

AFAIK there is no custom firmware or any other 3rd party firmware beyond 4.2.1 either. IMO iPhone 3G should have been left back at 3.1.3 with iPhone 2G (they do have the same hardware pretty much).

I agree. I recently upgraded my sisters iPhone 3G to 4.2.1, after it being on 3.1.3 for many months. The upgrade has definitely had an impact on performance, it's quite sluggish now. I'm thinking of using that "whited00r" custom firmware on it to see how it runs!
Edit: It appears that "whited00r" are offering a stripped down version of iOS 4.3.1 for iPhone 2G/3G on their website, so I'd assume that 4.3.2 is coming soon. http://www.whited00r.com/index.htmlLast edited by Funked; 04-24-2011 at 08:55 AM.

You're talking about something which:
1. Is used by very few
2. Has little support
3. Has little monetary value
4. Has major compatibility questions
5. AND ... can/will never be thoroughly tested
It's very risky going that route and will likely leave the 3G unstable.
Out with the old, in with the new. That's the way of things.
