Okay here's a question currently 3GS baseband 5.1 5.04 version 4.21 currently jailbroken with green poison tiny umbrella all saved 4.2.1(8c148a) 4.3b2(8f5153d) 4.3b3(8f5166b) I skipped version 4.3.1 I also know baseband 5.15.04 is not on lockable currently wood in the future like to unlock my phone I am using Windows 7 could you please be so kind point me in the right directions what I need to do to upgrade and if I don't like 4.3.2 can I down grade back to 4.21 also how do you downgrade I'm a noob at this I'm just a little confused with so much info also is4.3.2 stable with read some reports conflicting with Skype iBooks

4.3.2 isnt really worth the hassle of updating IMO. If you want to go to 4.3.2 you would use redsnow 0.9.6rc14 to jailbreak again after updating in itunes. If you ever want to go back to 4.2.1 you can use tiny umbrella to help since you say you have 4.2.1 SHSH.

Thanks for your very quick reply just trying to figure out how you do this so you say I just update straight to iTunes first I probably won't update because the differences not much like you say but just trying to figure out how you go about it

So since there is no unlock for my current 5.15.04baseband I wouldn't have to worry about it update and again I apologize for the silly questions wood like to onlock in the future if there is a re-less

Ya, assuming a unlock does eventually come out one day it will most likely work on all basebands up to the point of the latest baseband. If history is any indication anyway. So yes, in short it shouldnt matter if you update your baseband now since you already have one that cannot be unlocked.

Thank you with all the information you gave me it will go a long ways I've done some studying of reading message forms is just so much info out there. I was a little overwhelmed. with upgrading downgrade preserving unlocks rain snow snow breeze tiny umbrella again I thank you very very much
