    Default IPhone won't update (3194)

I currently have an iPhone 3GS running 4.2.1

I am trying to update to 4.3.1 so I can jb using redsnow. However, when I try and manually update the iPhone, it won't let me, giving me the old 3194 error. Since 4.3.2 is not yet jailbreakable, what should I do?

    4.3.2 is jailbreakable with redsn0w RC14.
When you try to restore to 4.3.1, have u pointed your host file to apple yet by unchecking the set host file to cydia upon exit in TU , save it and close it then do your restore.

Just checked, yes apple has already stopped signing 4.3.1

Yes, you can with 4.3.2, just do a restore of 4.3.2 through apple server, then jailbreak with redsn0w RC14. It will be untethered jailbreak. Make sure you run redsn0w in xp2 compatibilty mode.
