Trouble with Jailbreak

Ok so my issue is not with the actual jailbreak itself but more with the infamous gpSPhone program. i downloaded everything that i needed; the gpSPhone app, the bios, the roms, andwhen i went to play Pokemon Emerald (or any game for that matter) it will sit there at the playing screen for about 5 seconds and then it will shut off and take me back to the main apps screen on the ipod. can someone tell me what im doing wrong? and dont post a link to a video showing me how to do something, ive watch a &%^# ton of videos from people and they're starting to frustrate me becuase im doing the same thing they are. thank you

i have no idea, but to find a solution, the best way is to be more descriptive. what ios are you running, what did you use to jailbreak, what device are you using, what version of the app are you using, etc would help you to be helped
