Should I should I not ?

Hello Chaps,
I have a (version)3.1.3 - 3gs Modem Firmware (05.12.01) iphone.
I jailbroke my phone about 6 months ago at a cost of £25.00.

I do not want to upgrade to Apple's new software as this will undo my 'Jailbreak'
However, there are many apps that I have bought from Apples Itunes store that I cannot update and use as I do not have their latest software (4.3.2)

IF I do upgrade to apples new software will my phone be reset to factory settings?
Will I loose all my installed fonts and apps that that been bought from Apple and apps from Cydia/Bigboss etc?

I'm not very techincially minded when it comes to things like 'SSH'ing'etc my phone in fact I have no idea what that actually does.

Can anyone one please give me impartial advice on what I should do.

Easy to do
For all your cydia apps: aptbackup (Free) or pkgbackup ($7.99). this will backup all your cydia sources. with pkgbackup your backup is a bit more extensive, and it is well worth the money. As for all your paid apps, your cydia account is linked to either your FB account or google account, so you will not lose them.
If it is only an upgrade, you will not lose your settings. Be sure to back it up in iTunes though. After you get on to 4.3.2, just follow this:
