Hi all. I have been reading and am confused by all these methods now. Which one is recommended? One blog recommends poison over Dev Team's (iphonedownload...) but the blog never talks about backing up your baseband, etc. It just keeps on saying that if something goes wrong, you can always restore your iphone.
1. Which one is the safest to use?
2. Do they all save a backup so you can restore?
3. Is pwnage the only one that allows you to make custom firmware's?
4. Don't you have to backup your firmware and baseband before you can do a restore?
5. What's so special about greenpois0n?
6. Will doing a restore with Itunes really restore your iphone back to factory even if you tried to JB?
7. is preserving your baseband important, just so you can always make a custom firmware to update, in case, the next baseband update proves a little harder to crack?
8. what exactly is a SHSH? is this another acronym for the baseband?
I have iOS 4.3 and modem 4.10.01. Is that still as stable as the guys running 4.2.1 or should I update to 4.3.2 and wait until they have a stable release for that version?
Thanks.

1. Greenpoison only supported up to 4.2.1. All of them are safe to use.
2. Don't believe any of them make a backup of your phone. You need to do this yourself
3. pwnagetool is for MAC users, Windows users will use sn0wbreeze
4. No. I don't think that there's a way to back up the baseband. What you're thinking of perhaps is saving SHSH so you can downgrade to an older IOS that Apple would not let you to?
5. Don't really know, it works like redsn0w did for me when I used it. Perhaps because it doesn't require downloading the ipsw?
