upgrading to 4.2.1 in 3G

Hi guys,

I just downloaded a 4.2.1 firmware for 3G iphone. However, when I restore it thru itunes, it shows error 3094.

Anyone knows how to fix it??

Did you use tinyumbrella before? check your hosts file?

No not yet.

But what is the newest official firmware for iphone 3G? I mean those that can be directly used with itunes

4.2.1 is the last one ever for 3G, according to Apple.

Did they stop signing for this firmware?? Looks like it shows 3094 error even though i used an official 4.2.1 firmware..

Check your hosts file, this is the last one from Apple for 3G, so it hasn't stopped being signed. I just restored one an hour ago to 4.2.1 official.
