Cydia icon white - not working -help

I just updated from 4.0 to 4.3 using redsnow and everything appeared to work except for Cydia, the icon is just white. It just crashes after running. I tried the fix i read about of booting it into a tethered mode and that fixed it, but after rebooting, it doesn't work again. Is there any good, untethered, fix or a certain firmware I should downgrade back to? Thanks.

Just reboot the phone normally, it should work, otherwise, re-apply the jailbreak

I was having the same problem before with my friends 3GS on 4.2.1.

Since it was new I couldn't restore to 4.2.1 and had to do a restore with 4.3.1 and re-jailbreak. It worked on a fresh restore.
