A little advice needed please

I have a jailbroken 3GS. On 4.2.1 jailbroken with greenpoison. However when trying to backup/restore/upgrade my iPhone. I get a simple message in iTunes telling me that the request could not be completed! Is there a known bug with greenpoison or sumthing that is causing this problem.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so. How did u overcome it.

I have by shsh saved with tinyumbrella.

If u want any other info I'll try to provide it asap.

ok, after trying it 3 times i am getting two messages, the first one is telling me that the iphone is disconnected, although it is still charging, and the second error is error 6. Any ideas? I have tried restoring in DFU mode and it wont allow me, it will get so far and then come up with error message.

Still no luck, the latest error message is happening now when i try to transfer my purchases to itunes, the message reads 'The iphone cannot be synced with itunes, an error occured while reading from the device. It also seems to crash my entire pc when i try to do a restore, can anyone help?
