4.3. 05.16.01 to 4.3.1 JB and unlock

Hi all,

i am sitting here and reading for hours now and get more confused every second.
I have an unlocked 3gs with iOS 4.3. and 05.16.01 Baseband installed, no previous SHSHs available.

I want to upgrade it to 4.3.1. and preferably in a working unlocked and untethered jail broken condition.
If GPS won't be functional i could live with it.

Now the noobish and humble question to the Masterminds on this great forum:
What should i do and in what order to make the outcome of this operation most likely successful?

First use tiny umbrella to save your SHSH. Then you can use pwnage tool or snowbreeze to make a custom 4.3.1 and restore to that.

I still can't believe it but it seems to work, whew.
Just for the records and for anyone trying to do the same:
I ran into the "error 1600" and "error 21" while trying to restore, but i fixed it with the iREB r4 tool.
