Activating iphone 4

i have an iphone 4 on 4.3.1 which i got from canada..i need to activate it but the problem is that i have an at&t sim of america
is there any way i can do it?

Jailbreak it via redsn0w rc12 (https://sites.google.com/a/iphone-dev.com/files), and then install SAM from the Cydia repository http://repo.bingner.com.

The SAM program will try to guess which Canadian carrier your phone is locked to; if you know, specify under "Method -> By Country and Carrier." Once you've entered the carrier, hit "De-activate iPhone" under "Utilities" then plug your iPhone into iTunes. If all goes well, iTunes will legitimately activate your iPhone, and you'll be all set.
