Iphone 4 one signal bar issue

Hi there fellow jailbreakers !

I have an Iphone 4 sim-free bought directly from Apple. I used l1merain to jailbreak the device on iOS 4.1 an ran without problems until I decided to upgrade to 4.3.1.

There was no reason for the upgrade as all was working fine. I proceeded to upgrade to 4.3.1 using iTunes. At the end I received a 1013 error and ignored it. The device was in recovery mode.

Got the firmware upgrade file and redsn0w rc12 and proceeded to jailbreak the device.

After the required reboots I have a successful upgrade and a jailbreak. The only problem is that the signal bar does not display anything than the first bar.

I don't have problems making calls and connecting to the 3g network. It's just a cosmetic issue.

I don't need or use ultrasn0w because my baseband is 2.10.04 so it's pointless.

Are there any other fixes for this problem besides ultrasn0w 1.2.1 or I must revert to iOS 4.1 (I have SHSH blobs on file) ?

I must point out I performed an upgrade rather than installing the 4.3.1 firmware from scratch. I'm thinking on doing that to see if it resolves the issue but I need to know if there are any other options as restoring all my phone's contents will take a while

Use ultrasn0w.

It won't unlock you, but it will fix the signal bar issue, even on baseband 02.10.04.

I was reluctant to install it as the baseband was not supported and figured it would not work.

Installed ultrasn0w, respring, now it shows the bars as usual !
