Restore issue

Ok so i have an iphone 4 that was jailbroken tethered on 4.2.1 using redsnow. So i got arrested and had to turn off my phone. Now im out of jail and trying to get my phone working. I dont care about saving anything, i just want it to work. Its stuck in recovery mode and when i try to restore it with 4.2.1 or through itunes i get the error 3194. So i found out i needed to add the line of code to the host file. It worked but then i get the error 1013. The solution for Error 1013 is to delete that line of code in the host file. Thus bringing me back to error code 3194. I have exited recovery mode using umbrella but then i get stuck on the silver apple.

Did i ruin my phone or can i fix it somehow? i dont think i can take it back to the store since its jailbroken. Not sure if they would know if the errors linked to jailbroken iphones or not.

try using a different pc to restore or create a new user and do it under that user

lol i feel stupid now. That worked, all i had to do was switch computers thanks.
