iphone 4 4.2.1

SO

I "am" on 4.2.1
and then my roommate decided to hit "delete all settings and data: causing my IPhone to be stuck on the green posion screen.

So then I will restore, and I cannot because 4.2.1 is not current

so I load tinyumbralia, but my device does not show up with my shsh blobs because my IPhone is in recovery mode.


What do i do???

Did you hit make my life easier in Cydia. Also did it ever show that firmware in the top of Cydia?

If not you will be forced to go to 4.3.1 and rejailbreak with either redsn0w,sn0wbreeze, or pwnagetool

got it to work!

in case anyone else needs help or something:

I used redsnow and let it hang
after it hung for about 10-30 minutes it went back to recovery mode. at which point tinyumbralia was able to "kick" it out of recovery. after that process i just needed to hook up to itunes to activate.
