Help!!!

So every time i try to jailbreak my iphone 3g. on 4.2.1 firmware. using reds0w 0.9.6rc12. it goes through the dfu mode and once it moves on the program crashes and then i have to restore the factory settings on my phone. anyone know how to stop this?

Are you using mac or pc

Maybe try 0.9.6rc8. Sometimes version that were made for the specific firmware work better.

If not, try another computer.

hey do you know where i could get0.9.6rc8 ? because everywhere i try to get it from goes to the same broken link.
