Upgrading firmware

Hi guys

I have an 3gs with 4.3 and 06.15.00 bb.

I want to upgrade to 4.3.1 because 4.3 is tethered but 4.3.1 is not tethered.

Can anyone of you let me know how to do it, since it's an ipad BB?

You need to either use snowbreeze (windows) or pwnage tool (mac) to create a custom ipsw that you then use to restore with in Itunes.

Well, if you upgrade you have to cook a cfw since you used that awful iPad baseband, but I'm pretty sure you can just run the latest redsn0w right over your current fw to untether without upgrading.

u have to download snowbreeze and a custom 4.3.1 firmware
bfre anything just save ur shsh blobs in tinyumbrella
and then in snowbreeze make sure to uncheck install ipad baseband because u already have the ipad's baseband
after creating custom ipsw , there will be instructions on how to reach dfu mode
shift + restore and then u can enjoy
