Exclamation HELP! Telus iPhone 4 Jailbreak

    Hey all,

I'm new to this forum & new to jailbreaking so bare with my n00b questions!

I live in Canada, on the Telus network with an iPhone 4. I have jailbroken my device using PwnageTool 4.3 and firmware 4.3.1. My iPhone is successfully jailbroken (Cydia has appeared and functions), however I have no connection to the Telus network. I cannot place calls or receive texts etc... Google provided very little help in my situation.

What did I do wrong? Can this be fixed, or must I restore my iPhone & unjailbreak?

    Thanks for any help!

EDIT: due to lack of service, I got scared & restored my iPhone with the official Apple 4.3.1 firmware. I would still like to attempt another jailbreak if anyone knows what to do in the case of the issue above!

I believe it is carrier locked to Telus.

However, I was able to get it successfully jailbroken & connected to the network via the 4.3.1 redsn0w release after a complete restore of the original Apple firmware.

For those having the issue I did with PwnageTool: after some more googling, it was recommended that "iPhone activation" be deselected in the general settings when using PwnageTool to create your custom firmware (this is where I think I went wrong first time around).

    Good luck!
