Worried to jailbreak..

There is never any certainty of the behavior of a device when you jailbreak. Majority of the time you won't experience crashes. If you do, that's just a part of it lol. We all have experienced it once in a while, but only if the initial jb wasn't properly executed which can happen to anybody.

You should Save your SHSHs first to ensure if something goes wrong, you can fix it. If you don't need to unlock your phone, this would be risk-free as you can just restore if it doesn't go right the first time.

If you do need an unlock then it would be a small risk but I'm sure we can work with that too.

So firstly get tinyumbrella from thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com and click "Save SHSHs"

You can grab any already saved SHSHs into TU, if you don't have any it's still good to save what you can now for future use.

When you get done with that, download limera1n from limera1n.com. Then you'd run limera1n on your phone, follow the instructions in the program. When finished you should be able to see the limera1n icon on your homescreen. If you don't see it, you should reboot your phone then it should show up. If it only shows up as a white icon that's ok too. Just open it, and install Cydia with it. Then you're all done!
