(help) phone went into paperweight mode

I was reading a post on The Onion's app, and my screen flashed red for a second and then decided to not work. power doesn't work, home doesn't work, home+power for 10 seconds doesn't work, home+plugging into laptop doesn't work.

I searched red screen of death thing, but I can't find a solution for my model/firmware

I'm on an iPhone 4 4.3.1 jailbroken using redsn0w.

any help would be amazing.

Plug the phone into the computer hold home and power for 10 seconds release the power and continue holding home for another 20 seconds and see if the computer sees it then

still nothing, I tried it with multiple usb ports to make sure, as well as multiple cords.
