Sounds like an SHSH issue to me. What firmware are you restoring to and are you using tiny umbrella's TSS server when you are?

I have tried restoring to 4.2.1 and 4.3.1 custom firmware with snowbreeze and also using tiny umbrella to restore. It restores fine, its just after restore when it goes to reboot it just boots in dfu mode and even when i kick it out of dfu mode if i then turn the phone off it will go bsck into dfu mode.

If you are using tiny umbrella make sure you have saved your SHSH locally with it before starting the TSS server. If you dont do this then you will be left in DFU after a restore.
