Default Need Refresher....it's been a while.

    Whats up guys,

I used to be very up to date with the whole jailbreaking/unlocking community updates but over the last 2 years I've opened a business and somewhat lost track. I'm a legit AT&T subscriber, but I've always liked to keep my phone on the unlockable basebands so i can sell for a higher value when its time to upgrade. The last time i updated was with 4.1 and i haven't though twice about updating since they never really bring major features. As of late, my iphone has been acting fluky and sluggish so I've been wanting to do a restore. My dilemma is that if I'm reading correctly, my current baseband isn't unlockable anyways...but I remember making sure there was an unlock available before i updated back then, so I'm a little confused. Also, I remember reading that as long as you have SHSH Blobs on file, you'll be able to downgrade your baseband with no problem. I remember also saving my blobs with tinyumbrella and also CYDIA confirms that I have them on file. Ive read the guides on jailbreaking but I see that it's a "tethered" jailbreak. I hate having it like that because i like to cycle the power on my phone to free up RAM every once in a while. So my question is....can i restore/update my phone to the current FW and still maintain the unlockable option or am I up the creek without a paddle? I'm attaching a screenshot of my info to help out.

    Thanks in advance guys.

Having saved SHSH means you can go backwards with IOS, not with baseband.
If it is an unlocked phone now (given the firmware shown in your screenshot), then it is not a software dependent unlock and you will not lose it by upgrading baseband.
Current IOS (4.3.1) has untethered jailbreaks available. Upgrade away.
