Hey guys! I have an iPhone 3GS running 4.2.1 with 06.15.00 (yes, i kno, don't crucify me ), and I was hoping to upgrade to a custom (unjailbroken) firmware of 4.3.1 without losing all my data? Any help appreciated, as I've got to return this phone soon, and my office is already going to be really annoyed I've changed the baseband...
I asked MuscleNerd on twitter when the downgrade was coming - no reply. Do any of you guys know? Thanks for any help!
Just back up the phone in itunes before restoring. You will lose all your jb stuff tho. Which i am sure you know. But as for apple store stuff and music and pics just back it up and hit update
I have a iphone 3gs with 4.2.1 6.15 baseband and when i tried to update to 4.3.1 with a custom ispw made with snowbreeze it dint work i kept getting a 1015 error. If you do it please can u tell me as mine keeps getting stuck in recovery loop.
safe; I backed up. Now i know 06.15 wont update easily - does anyone know if iOS 4.3.1 updates easily with 06.15.00 (i.e. does it support it naturally)? So step by step, this is what i got - download a 4.3.1 firmware that supports 06.15.00 (help? Where from?), start tinyumbrella's TSS server, restore to the custom file, and then use TinyUmbrella at the end to kick out of recovery. Will this work? Thanks a lot for the quick replies guys - u guys are invaluable
