one thing i noted that when cydia page is open there is written at top of the page

That message has to do with saving SHSH for your device.

thanks x98car to helped me i have successfully installed latest firmware 4.3.1 and baseband 05.16.02 in my 3gs device and working fine.
Now i want to jailbreak it, can i do it with redsn0w_win_0.9.6rc12?
where can i download firmware for jailbreaking? plz soon response.

Yes. Use that redsnow. You should have the firmware on your computer already (although it is probably in a hidden folder). Easiest way is to get it from downloads section at the top of the page. You should download it with firefox, it will save you some headaches.

it doesn't jailbreak with redsnow because my baseband also changed from 05.14.02 to 05.16.02 in latest firmware 4.3.1.i think redsnow_0.9.6rc12 doesn't support baseband 05.16.02 is it?
when i select firmware 4.3.1 in redsnow it asks that is this newer fixed model?(about fixed bootrom)please tell me what i have to select?
can i also jailbreak it with snowbreeze 2.5? plz help

You can jailbreak just fine with redsnow. Jailbreaking depends on your firmware, not your baseband.

It will tell you if you have old or new bootrom (model).

hello guys..
i have a problem in updating my 3gs to ios 4.3.1
now im on ios 4.1 6.15 baseband. whenever i want to upgrade ios 4.3.1 stock or custom i got error 1015 so i have to downgrade to ios 4.1 and use tiny umbrella to restore it. any solutions on how to upgrade my iphone 3gs to ios 4.3.1 ?

You have to make a custom 4.3.1 with pwnage tool or snowbreeze and restore to that.

hi x98car why i cannt update my device in latest ver 4.3.2 now? when i try itunes give massage unknown error 3194. as u know 10 days ago i updated it 4.3.1 and then jailbroken. now 4.3.2 released why itunes dont update my device? plz help

I was getting the same issue earlier, I had to put the phone in DFU to get it to restore. Why do you want to go to 4.3.2 though?
