Suggestions appreciated

Okay so i just bought an iphone 4 that was a month old. clean mein esn. Its still in the hook to iphone screen. Here are my questions

1. should i download a particular ipsw before i hook to itunes to restore.. if so which one
2. any particular suggestions on which way to jailbreak

my concern is just the jailbreak as i will not want to unlock after today, ill just stick with verizon.

Well verizon can't unlock I think because it's CDMA...u can use it on metropcs but anyway...since u gonna stick with Verizon just update to 4.3.1 and jailbreak.

thanks guys... wll it looks like my version is 4.2.5....so im thinking great easy one here and ran greenpoison.. well... everything looks great EXCEPT the loader icon crashes and wont open cydia.. i have reinstalled and even redownloaded greenpoison to no avail.. continuous crash.. any advice please????

Just stay where your at run redsn0w over gp and install cydia with it

well.. noone replied back so i opted to download the ipsw 4.2.6 and jailbroke with greenpoisOn. everything went as smoothly as glass, i was just worried about the 4.2.6 firmware but thusfar no probs. im activating my cellular contract with sprint later tonight or in the am.. thanks again

Why would you go with sprint the iPhone won't work with sprint? Is 4.3.1 even available for verizon? I thought 4.2.6 was the newest for verizon. If you know how to get it loaded on a verizon phone let me know how cause iTunes says I'm up to date on 4.2.6.
