Does 4.3.1 change baseband?

I am currently running a 3GS on BB 06.15 and iOS 4.2.1. If I update to 4.3.1 will the baseband change? I need 06.15 for ultrasn0w unlock

Nope, nothing will change that baseband right now. You should use a custom firmware made with pwnage tool or snowbreeze otherwise you will get a 1015 error.

Like stated , your stuck with 6.15 til a higher baseband comes....there's no downgrading so yea but going to 4.2.1 is allowable if u have ur shsh saved fornthat firmware
