    Default 3g iphone needs downgrade

I have just unlocked and jailbreaked my 3g and it's really slow. I saw that it's possible to downgrade the 3g.

I have 3g, bb 5.13.04 os4.0.2 and would like to downgrade to 3.x.x
Is this possible without any ssh delow 4.0? It came from the store with 4.0.2 installed. I have ssh saved for 4.0 but nothing lower than that.

Don't listen to this you can goto 3.x with no shsh no problem. You'll get 1015 error but use ireb or TU to kick out of recovery. 4.x is just too much for the 3G.

You don't need SHSHs for iPhone 3G to get to 3.1.x. TU is TinyUmbrella. Get it at thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com.

Shift+restore to stock 3.1.3 (get it in the Downloads section here), get error 1015, use TU to exit recovery.

Ok, just point restore to the 3.1.3 firmware. Where can I find info on using TU to exit recovery mode? I see info on the blog.
    Thanks

You would just download tinyumbrella from the link I gave you, and then when you finish restoring and get error 1015 you open the program TinyUmbrella and click "exit recovery"
