The other day I tried to update and re-jailbreak my iPhone 3GS using redsn0w.
When I tried this, my phone went through the standard jailbreak stuff and then got to the point where it automatically reboots.
When it did this it got to the Apple logo and had a spinning circle in front to tell me it was doing something.
After about 5 minutes on this screen it then rebooted again.
It got to the Apple logo again and had the spinning circle again and after 5 minutes it rebooted again.
Since it wasn't working I tried to restore my iPhone to both 4.3.1 and 4.2.1 and for both of them it starts restoring and on my iPhone screen it shows the progress bar. It gets to just over half way through and then hangs.
I left it overnight trying to restore and the next morning it was still in the exact same place.
I downloaded and ran blackra1n and it looked as though it had run successfully but the iPhone still starts in recovery mode.
I've tried using Tiny Umbrella to exit recovery but it's not working and still starts in Recovery Mode and I still can't restore.
I think I've just fallen in love with you!
Thank you so very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very much!
You've just saved me a lot of money.
If you were here I'd kiss you.
That's worked perfectly.
Thanks
