I just recently upgraded my iPhone 4 to 4.3.1 upon hering the news of the 2 new untethered jailbreaks. first I tried redsn0w. I dl it. I have the newest version of iTunesand i dl the ipsw file. When i dl it it came as a rar file. I unrar it but didnt see any file in there that was an actual .ipsw file. redsn0w didnt recognize any of the files either. i tried putting in the whole rar file and that didnt work either. then i dl snowbreeze and tried that and had the same results. Then i tried dl the ipsw from several sources just to make sure it wasnt that. same thing. i'm sure it's something stupid that i'm doing wrong, but can someone please help me with this?
Hey there. Was having the same problem while using internet explorer. If you use firefox, the ipsw file will be saved as ipsw, not a rar file. Internet explorer for some reason saves certain files as zipped files/folders. Good luck, pm me if you still have problems
