iPhone 3GS 4.1 not recognized in iTunes 10.2.1

I have a problem,
I cannot sync my iPhone 3GS because iTunes will not recognize it. I jailbroke it with limerain. If anyone could help me it would be much appreciated, I've tried almost everything. Please help!

by regnize do you mean it won't show up. One way is to connect it to the pc do a hard reboot (sleep + home button hold till it restarts to apple logo booting). If that doesn't work reboot your pc. Or try on diffrent pc. Or last resort back up music and reinstall itunes. Good Luck but do the hard reboot after your restart your pc. Thats what i do.

Well I wouldn't be able to backup if my device doesn't show up in iTunes. But my computer recognizes my phone. Also, the hard reboot didn't work.
