4.3.1 jailbreak

Hi everyone! I know there was a 4.3.1 untethered jailbreak released... I jailbroke with the tethered jailbreak a few weeks ago. My ? Is, in order to jailbreak with the untethered version, do I need to restore first to get rid of the current tethered jailbreak first? Or can I just re-jailbreak without restoring? And does this new untethered jail real wk for 4.3 as well?

Ok. Thank u! Do u know if the 4.3.1 untethered will work on 4.3? Or if there is an untethered for 4.3? If not, I guess I'll just have to upgrade to 4.3.1 as well, huh?

No just run the new jailbreak over it.

i'm on 4.1, would like to jump to 4.3.1, can i just run redsn0w with the ispw for 431 or do i have to natively update to 431 in itunes then run redsn0w with the ispw?

No don't up date thru iTunes just download the latest redsn0w And use the 4.3.1 over your current jailbreak tip don't update if you are on another carrier or need to preserve you baseband for other carriers

ok i just did this.... i cant open cydia..cydia is a white icon, and closes like a half second after i open it.......

i was untethered on 4.1 before, updated normally in itunes, then ran redsn0w with ispw..

and my serial 4th and 5th digit is 37, indicating an old bootrom, but i get the message saying it's new and to select Yes.
