Problems with getting an old iPhone 3G up and running

Tried to search around but think i have tried almost everything possible now.

The problem is that i can't get the iPhone 3G up and running. It was in parts when i got it, and i screwed it back together and installed an unorginal digitizer with original lcd.

I have tried:
1. Restore to newest without any errors occuring but it keeps bootlooping. I have tried iReb4 to kick it out of the loop without any success.

2. Tried restoring with Sn0wbreeze with custom firmware from pwned DFU. Same problem there.

3. Restoring to 3.1.3. Restore loop, but iReb was able to kick it out of it, but now hangs on the very first screen after boot. (slide to open screen)

4. Restoring to 3.1.3 then jailbreaking with Redsn0w. Screen turns to flickering grey white then to complete white. Nothing happens.

Piece of **** won't give me a break

Please tell me if there is anything other than this that might help.

Then its kinda weird that the restore process is going fine...
just after

Maybe because of the digitizer, will look into that later today!

Please if anyone has any other sugestions it will be greatly welcome!
