What do I need to do before jailbreaking?

Currently on official 4.3, never been jailbroken.

I've read around that I should save my shsh blobs before jailbreaking?

Do I just simply do that by using TinyUmbrella?

You could save your SHSHs before or after jailbreaking. It's just a safe thing to do for future use.

You can either run TinyUmbrella and use save SHSHs or you can jailbreak and go to Cydia and select "make my life easier" to save SHSHs. I do both.

I hear there is an untethered jailbreak for 4.3.1 coming soon, so you might wait a bit for it.

So now that sn0wbreeze 4.3.1 untethered is released AND i do not need to unlock as mine is already factory unlocked.. Do I just simply update to 4.3.1 on iTunes and JB it using sn0wbreeze custom IPSW?

I dont believe you have to update first just make the custom Ipsw and restore to it
