FIX: Iphone 4 restoring to 4.2.1 but Error 1013 and stuck in Recovery Mode

I'm not sure if this has been discussed but I just recently restored my iphone 4 from 4.2.1 to 4.2.1. I had the shsh blobs saved. The problem was after error 1013 in itunes my phone was stuck in Recovery Mode.

I tried Tiny Umbrella, Recboot, ireb but I had no luck in kicking it out of recovery mode. I then tried putting it in DFU Mode and jailbroke it. IT WORKED!

I hope this can help anyone stuck in the same situation since I wasn't really able to find much on fixing this particular issue with every prog not working.

tiny umbrella has fix recovery which does the same exact thing.

I tried fixed recovery...it wouldn't do anything. It would tell me to let the phone reboot but the phone wouldn't

Just run greenpoison jailbreak with your official sim card inserted

THANK YOU SO MUCH for this post. I too tried deleting the hosts lines that everyone talked about, I tried fixrecovery and TinyUmbrella. Nothing worked. Then I saw your post. I had thought about this but figured it was WAY too easy for it to be fixed that way but then I read that it worked for you and it did too for me. So, THANK YOU.

EDIT: Actually, it seemed like it was jailbreaking but after it was done, it went back to recovery... =/ Help?
iPhone 4 in 4.3.1

EDIT #2: This time, RecBoot did it.

Steps:
1. Updated to 4.3.1 (that's when the error 1013 appeared)
2. Put in DFU mode and jailbreak with redsn0w (& it went back to recovery mode after finished)
3. RecBoot and voila!

Wow this also kinda worked for me with some extra steps. Was using 4.2.1 and decided to upgrade just cause. But kept getting erros 1301, 1604 and 21 depending on what I was doing. DFU mode and install, nothing was working for me. Then I saw this post after trying all other sorts of stuff.

1. Jailbreak using RedSn0w and FW downloaded from felix site.
2. Jailbreak again using RedSn0w because first JB was stuck at installing apps.
3. NO Signal (AT&T) even after setup as new iPhone 4 and then trying to restore from backup reboot.
4. Didn't feel like searching forever for resolutions so......
5. Used Pwnage Tool to create CF and used iTunes to restore iphone.
6. Everything working like a champ got all MyWi back most importantly to tether my iPad 2 as i'm about to catch a flight in 5 hours.

I'm sure there probably was a simpler way, but this worked. Thanks OP for the initial boot!

did you do a complete upgrade without reserving your bb to achieve this? i've tried updating to 4.3.3 and i either have no carrier or a single bar with ATT and under settings > carrier > Not Available. Did you encounter this?
