Default IPhone 3GS Jailbreak without Sleep Button Help?

Ok, so I want to jailbreak my iPhone 3GS.
I've looked at a BUNCH of tutorials online, and they have online, and only one thing in common. A little thing called DFU mode. Now, that's good and all, but I can't put my phone in DFU mode because my sleep button/lock/power button(the long one at the top) doesn't work at all. Not even if I hold together the upper right hand corner with all my strength and push it down. Not a single bit, it is gone.
What I'm asking for, is a step-by-step FROM THE BEGINNING guide to jailbreaking for dummies. Without a sleep button.
    So, in short.
I need a simple guide to jailbreaking without a sleep button.
    I am using 4.2.1 firmware.

    Thanks in advance

Use tiny umbrella or recboot to enter and exit recovery

There is no current way for you to jailbreak on 4.2.1 without a sleep button. 4.0.1 was the last firmware that allowed that (jailbreakme.com)

Really? Cant you use like rec boot enter recovery mode? Or do you have to do the process for greenposi0n to recognise it?

ALl the current jailbreaks require DFU. Not recovery.
