Help Iphone stuck on apple logo.

I have an iphone 3g 16gb it has firmware 4.2.1 and I jailbroke it with redsnow and installed the ipad baseband to unlock it. After this is will not boot past the apple logo. Any help would be appreciated. I tried restoring with a custom ispw and no luck.

OK so trying to boot it up with redsnow didnt work. This is what I did I restored with a custom ipsw that I made with pwnage tool and then it was stuck on the pineapple logo. I put it in recovery mode and used irecovery via terminal to get it to boot up. I have to use irecovery every time to get it to boot up. Why does it do this? Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem as you do. My phone is 3gs on 4.2.1 and stuck at the apple logo. Itunes recognizes it and I can add music and stuff to the phone but just cannot get into the phone. I tried your advice on iRecovery but cannot get the darn thing to work.

Put my phone in recovery mode. Installed the libUsb thing run iRecovery in terminal but it kept telling me No iPhone/Ipod found.

How did you do it?
